Ambrozino Storr

Ambrozino “Zino” Storr is a behavioral healthcare executive with 15 years of experience in the field. Throughout his career, Zino has held various positions in behavioral health, gaining extensive knowledge and experience in supporting psychiatric clinical patient services for Veterans, adults, adolescents, and children in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Most recently, Zino served as the Chief Executive Officer of a 70-bed residential treatment center in the southwest, specializing in the treatment of Veterans with substance use disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). As a part of the team at Desert Winds, Zino has a vision to further enhance the treatment experience and build on the resiliency of our Nation’s Veterans by providing care is small intimate settings.

Georganna Koppermann

Georganna “Georgie” Koppermann brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to supporting veterans in their journey towards recovery and well-being.  Her passion for helping veterans stems from her personal experience witnessing the struggles her family members faced upon returning from war. With more than 15 years of extensive experience, she has been involved in developing and marketing programs specifically designed for Veterans. Through her work, Georgie has concluded that veterans are better served in small, intimate programs that provide a safe and supportive environment for their healing.

Dr. Westbrook Kaplan, MD

Dr. Kaplan completed his undergraduate degree at the University of California at Berkeley from 1992-1995 and his residency training in Internal Medicine at University Medical Center from 2001 to 2004 in Las Vegas Nevada. He has been a Hospitalist from 2004 to present and has worked in Addiction and Recovery since 2012. His expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of acute medical conditions in combination with Wellness allows for a comprehensive approach to recovery and healthcare. He is committed to supporting clients with treatment strategies that are based on evidence, experience, and compassion. “Being reliable, consistent and patient are key elements to supporting the wellbeing and recovery of our clients during times of physical and emotional distress.”

Dr. Joseph J. Bradley, M.S., D.C, Psy.D.-c, DACACD, CPSP

Dr. Bradley is a board-Certified Addictionologist, Diplomate in Addictionology and possesses a master’s degree in Substance Abuse Counseling and Education. Dr. Bradley is a Licensed Chiropractic Physician, Certified in Sport Psychology and Doctor of Psychology with focus in Sport Psychology currently completing Doctoral project for publication on treatment of Veterans with Substance use disorder with co-occurring Post Traumatic Stress Disorder using third-wave CBT. Dr. Bradley is a certified interventionist and author of the published book “Addiction: From Suffering to Solution.”

 

Dr. Bradley has worked at multiple treatment centers across the United States as well as being a national sought-after speaker on addiction, chronic pain, trauma, and related topics. He has been an adjunct professor at multiple universities and currently is a university professor for JPU in South Bend, Indiana. He teaches: Psychology, Sociology, Addiction treatment, Neural Behaviorism, Smoking Cessation and Nutritional Psychology. 

 

Dr. Bradley is a perpetual student always trying to expand on his knowledge base. He enjoys time with family, practicing martial arts, shooting, and watching movies.

Albert Ofori, DNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C is a doctoral trained and dual board certified APRN with strong clinical and interdisciplinary collaboration abilities. Goal oriented and dedicated to high levels of patient satisfaction to meet aggressive business goals. Proactive and organized with passionate commitment to high quality patient care. Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships, credibility and trust. Licensed in Ohio and Nevada with an expertise in Psychiatry and mental health, Addiction medicine, Medication Assisted Treatment, Primary Care and Home health.

Alana Bowen, LCSW

Alana’s journey from being in the United States Army to pursuing her education in social work shows her commitment to serving and helping others. Her bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University and Master’s degree from the University of Louisville have provided her with a strong foundation in social work principles and practices.

 

Alana has chosen to specialize in treating her fellow Veterans facing mental health and addiction challenges. By employing a person-centered and strength-based approach, Alana ensures that her clients feel comfortable and supported throughout their therapeutic journey. Her focus on creating an open and safe environment where clients can freely express their thoughts and emotions without fear of judgment is crucial for effective therapy.

 

In addition to her work with Veterans, Alana’s experience as a community mental health therapist dealing with issues related to domestic and sexual violence highlights her versatility and dedication to addressing a wide range of mental health concerns. Her involvement in on-scene crisis response, geriatrics, and working with children further demonstrates her diverse skill set and adaptability as a mental health professional.

 

Alana’s dedication to helping individuals with stress and anxiety, addictions, trauma and abuse, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence showcases her comprehensive approach to mental health care. Her multifaceted background and extensive experience make her an asset to the Veteran Community in providing support and guidance to those in need. We are happy to have her!
